Karen S. Goins ACC MSA SPHR

Karen S. Goins is the President of KS Goins & Associates LLC, a company that focuses on coaching talented leaders, facilitation, training, and project management.  The company is based in Plainfield Illinois.    Karen is a results oriented leader who is presently coaching a diverse slate of leaders resulting in improved career choices, behavior modification and team dynamics.  Karen’s focus also includes coaching those in transition be it career or life in general.  In addition, she has designed and delivered various corporate education classes, facilitated various conferences and team meetings.

Karen’s strength in leading individuals and teams to achieve their desired  performance is the result of 23 years in corporate America including 13 years at Navistar and 10 years at General Motors. Her breath of accountability includes Director Human Resources, Director Purchasing Product Development, Director Diversity and various positions in manufacturing and quality.  In addition, she has worked with various non profit organizations and universities.  Karen’s passion for developing current and future leaders and helping those less fortunate has been a staple in her life for many years. 

Karen is both a certified coach (ACC) and has the SPHR (senior professional human resources) designation.  Karen earned a bachelors of Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan and a masters of Science and Administration from Central Michigan University.   Presently Karen is a member of SHRM (Society of Human Resources Management), ICF (International Coaching Federation) and WIIS (Women in International Security).
